This privacy policy describes how the Verhinderdata app ("the app") handles your data. We take your privacy very seriously.
Verhinderdata works entirely locally on your device (Mac or iPhone). The app collects no personal data, sends nothing to the internet and shares no data with the developer or with third parties.
To be able to generate your unavailable dates, the app requests access to your calendar (Apple Calendar / EventKit). It uses this to read the titles, dates and times of your appointments in the period and calendars you've chosen.
This calendar data is processed solely on your device to create an overview of your unavailable dates. It isn't stored outside the calendar, isn't copied to a server and isn't shared with third parties.
The app keeps your preferences locally on your device (via the standard settings storage of macOS or iOS), including:
These preferences stay on your device and are not sent anywhere.
The app makes no connection to the internet and sends no data. No analytics, tracking or advertising technology is used.
When you copy your unavailable dates to the clipboard or export them to a text file, that information remains entirely under your control. You decide where the file is saved and with whom you share the text.
You can revoke calendar access at any time: on the Mac via System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars, on the iPhone via Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.
The app is not aimed at children and collects no data from anyone.
If this privacy policy changes, we'll publish the updated version with a new date at the top of this page.
