Verhinderdata — everything you want to know
Unavailable dates (verhinderdata) are the days on which you are not available, for example for a hearing. Courts ask lawyers to submit these dates so a hearing can be scheduled at a suitable moment. Verhinderdata puts this overview together for you automatically.
Verhinderdata is one universal app for both the Mac (macOS 14 or later) and the iPhone (iOS 17 or later). A single download works on both. There is no Windows or Android version.
Verhinderdata is free and available in the App Store — for both Mac and iPhone.
Pick a start and end date and click "Fetch unavailable dates". The app reads your calendar and automatically compiles an overview of the days you're unavailable.
Consecutive unavailable days are merged into a range, for example "3 to 7 March". Weekends and your fixed unavailable days are taken into account to keep the ranges contiguous.
Yes. In the results screen you can remove a day or a group. Removed something by accident? Use "Undo" to put it back.
Saturdays and Sundays aren't listed as separate unavailable days, but they do count towards forming contiguous ranges.
With one click you copy the overview to your clipboard, ready to paste into a letter or email. You can also export it as a text file.
By default all calendars you've granted access to. In the settings you can choose exactly which calendars count.
Good to know: Verhinderdata reads the calendars as they appear in the Calendar app on your Mac. Any calendar you can make visible there is one you can use — no matter where the appointments originally came from.
Yes. Add your Outlook or Microsoft 365 account to your Mac once via System Settings → Internet Accounts (choose Microsoft Exchange). Your Outlook calendar then appears automatically in the Calendar app on your Mac. After that you tick that calendar in Verhinderdata and your Outlook appointments are simply included. You don't need to have the Outlook app itself open.
Indirectly, yes. Basenet has a feature to make your calendar available over the internet using a web address (URL). Add that address in the Calendar app on your Mac via File → New Calendar Subscription. Your Basenet appointments then appear (read-only) in the Mac Calendar, after which Verhinderdata can include them. You'll find the web address in your Basenet calendar settings; if you get stuck, Basenet can help you with it.
Yes. In the settings you can designate fixed weekdays that always count as unavailable, for example a regular day off.
You can specify keywords; appointments with such a word in the title are skipped. In addition, for each recurring activity you can choose whether it counts as unavailability.
Everything stays local on your Mac. The app doesn't send any data to the internet and doesn't share anything with third parties. Read more in our privacy policy.
That access is needed to read your appointments and determine your unavailable dates from them. The data is only processed on your device.
