QRfactuur works both ways. Received an invoice? The app reads the IBAN, amount, payee and reference from the PDF and turns them into a payment QR you scan with your banking app. Sending an invoice yourself? The app puts a payment QR on it for your client to scan. No more retyping account numbers — and everything stays local on your Mac.
Download on the Mac App StorePaying an incoming invoice usually means retyping the IBAN, amount and reference into your banking app, with a risk of typos. QRfactuur pulls those details from the PDF and puts them in a payment QR you scan. And sending an invoice yourself? The app adds a payment QR so your client pays correctly in a single scan. You always check and confirm every payment yourself in your own banking app.
QRfactuur reads the IBAN, payee name, amount and — if present — the payment reference or invoice number automatically.
Sending invoices yourself? QRfactuur puts a payment QR on your own invoice — in the corner you choose — and exports a clean PDF for your client to scan.
If the PDF has no text layer, the app recognises the text automatically with built-in text recognition (OCR).
One invoice in, one scan out — with the certainty that the IBAN is valid and that nothing leaves your Mac.
The QR code updates instantly as you edit fields. If something in the PDF is wrong, you fix it in one tap.
The IBAN is checked for format and check digits (mod-97), so common reading errors are caught.
The QR code follows the European EPC standard for SEPA transfers and works with ING, Rabobank, ABN AMRO, SNS, ASN, RegioBank, bunq, Knab and Triodos.
QRfactuur doesn't make payments. The app prepares the details in a QR; you always check and confirm the payment in your own banking app.
Open an invoice or drag it into the window. No setup needed — the details and the QR appear right away.
Copy the payment QR as an image (PNG) to paste into WhatsApp or email, or export your invoice with the QR as a PDF. You set the caption below the QR yourself.
Everything happens on your Mac. No internet, no account, no tracking — your invoices stay yours.
